Activities . . . Hiking, Running, Swimming !

● During the week, I run after classes end (everybody finish at 3:30pm), because I intergrated CrossCountry Team ! We are like a huge united family. I must confess, the first times were so easy, but then, I started being exhausted, and finally I am the weakest of the team !

● Anyway, after running, a friend of mine loves to go swimming in Washington Lake so we went there by bus, and the water was so HOT ! We couls see the mountains in the background/distance.

● On Saturday, the 14th we went hiking with my pen-pal, her friend and her friend's dad. It was WONDERFUL, I felt like I was in Twilight ! There were huges trees, giant mounains, clouds in font of us . . . And the Serene Lake was amazing, but we couldn't swim because we didn't bring anything, but some people did !

Arrival ! By Mélanie

Hello, here is Mélanie! The last few days, I did a lot of things. First of all, just after my arrival, I went to a Baseball Game with my host family, to see the Mariners (they lost). I managed to stay awake because I really wanted to see the match. 

Two days after that, I went to downtown and Pike Place Market, it was amazing. Everything is bigger here. Next to Pike Place Market is the famous Gum Wall. I stuck my chewing gum with my pen-friend, it was funny!

Then 3 days ago I went to a Chinese restaurant with my new friends, and the man cooked the food in front of us, he was the fastest cooker I've ever seen! The food was so delicious.

Hello there. Hope everybody will enjoy our stay in Seattle as far as everybody can follow our experience here (:
● The trip was so long, but we had a lot to do : especially movies ! We had four meals too during the trip . . . Terrible.

We could have a look on our trip in live, we could know the temperature, how far we were from Seattle, the countries we passed by/crossed. Just in front of each person, on the seat in front of you, there were tactil screens, evereyone could choose his movie, his music, or whatever. Check it out, isn't it AWSOME ? ;D

● I just arrived and went to visit Seattle, went to some pot-lucks where people talked about workers conditions, about healthy food and its quality, people are very aware about these things. After being awake for 24 hours (my family made the calculation), I finally went to bed in my new room !

● First Day of school, we already have some homework, so we go to the librabry. Then during breaks, everyone has an environmental "mission". i.e. he has to make something to keep the school clean, we personally vacuumed rooms, it was so funny and so hard, but also very interesting, you feel proud whe, you then go back to the rooms you cleaned yourself.
